I’m a Hopeless Romantic

A romance novel that immediately grabs you and compels you to read until the last page, there is nothing better than that!  I’ve spent many nights reading until the sun was peaking over the horizon and birds were chirping to greet a new morning.  Stories that I could not put down because I had to know how it would end.  Would they finally get together and live happily ever after?  They usually do but it’s the journey that is so intriguing to me.  Gifted storytellers pull the reader in with a web of back stories, scenarios, and unforgettable characters.

One can vicariously feel first-love again, the anticipation of the first kiss, and the butterflies in your stomach.  Yes the butterflies deep down when you realize that this person is “the one”.  The person you will spend the rest of your life with.

Being married for over 30 years to a husband who is not overly romantic, I tend to flock to romantic gems to vicariously relive those special moments from my own life.  Romance to me at this stage is coming home and finding my husband doing the dishes.  No kidding a man doing housework without being asked is sexy as hell!

I created this blog because I wanted to write my own romance novel. I will share my creation chapter by chapter and I invite you to share the journey with me.  The end goal would be to publish a fully developed novel on the Kindle app.
